My Town Pictures is once again hoping to bring you a full year of great new,
original films from towns just like yours!
"Funeral Ladies"
This new film from the community of Lake Mills, Iowa is a comedy about a
small group of women who make it a habit of attending every funeral in
town -- whether they knew the deceased or not -- in order to see who
comes and to have the lunch. But when they see an especially intriguing
visitor to one of the funerals, they find themselves having to turn their gaze
upon their own lives too. This film is now in post-production.
"Entre' Act"
Red Wing, Minnesota is the beautiful location for a romantic comedy
about a man who returns to town after years of being away, to claim the
heart of his high school sweetheart, with whom he shared a passion for
theater and drama. But now, she has moved on and time is running out
on his storybook romance. This film will begin shooting in late June.
"Peace Patch"
Boone, Iowa will produce its second film in as many years with this
comedy about neighbors who argue over whose responsibility it is to mow
one small patch of grass between their houses. But when this small patch
of grass appears to have a magical way of creating peace among the
neighbors, everyone decides to solve their disputes on the peace patch.
That is until someone decides to mow it down....
